It is one of the most affluent civic bodies and has also made significant progress in keeping up with modern digital advancements. Here is how you can use the online calculator for easy and accurate calculation:
Step 1: Go to the PCMC Property Tax Self-Assessment Portal.
Step 2: After choosing your ‘Zone’ from the drop-down list, you have to choose your residential status.
Step 3: You have to select ‘Sub Use type’, and ‘Construction Type’, and provide the measurement of your property’s area.
After following the steps mentioned above, your property tax amount will be shown.

If you own a property in any region that comes under PCMC, you can pay your property tax dues through offline or online methods.
Here are the steps on how to make a PCMC property tax online payment.
Step 1. Go to the official website of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.
Step 2. Click on ‘Residents’ and choose ‘Property Tax’ from the drop-down list.
Step 3. Click on ‘Click here to pay property bill online’ on the new page.
Step 4. Next, you will see four options- ‘By Property Code’, ‘Search in Marathi’, ‘Search in English’, and ‘Back’ to the homepage.
Step 5. If you choose ‘Search in English’, fill in details like ‘Zone’, ‘Gat No.’, ‘Owner Name’ and ‘Address’ and proceed.
Step 6. On the next page, give your contact details like email ID and phone number.
Step 7. Choose your preferred payment method and select ‘Make Payment’.
If you choose to pay your PCMC property tax offline, you have to choose from the following three options.
If the payment method is through cheque or demand draft, you should address it to the “The Tax Collector and Assessor, Pune Municipal Corporation”.
If you are paying taxes for the period of April 1 – September 30, the last date to make your payment for the first half is May 31. The due date for the second half, i.e. the period between October 1 and March 31 is December 31.
After you have successfully made your payment online through the PCMC web portal, an e-receipt will be generated. This receipt is proof that you have cleared your taxes, and it can act as evidence if any dispute arises in future.
But sometimes, due to some technical or connectivity issue, you may not get the e-receipt right after making the payment. In such cases, check with your bank if the amount is debited, and if it has, you can refresh the website to view and download your e-receipt within the next three working days.
Rebate and reward offers on PCMC tax payments differ from one state to another. For property owners in Pimpri-Chinchwad, rebates on tax payments made have certain conditions. They are given below:
The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation utilises a capital-based valuation method for property tax evaluation. Every property owner in Pimpri, Bhosari, Chinchwad, and Akurdi must pay their PCMC property tax dues on a yearly or half-yearly basis to PCMC.
Ans: You can change the name in PCMC property tax documents by submitting the following documents to the Revenue Commissioner at the PCMC office,
Current tax receipts
NOC for no outstanding amount
Attested copy of sale deed
Application form with signature.
It will take 15 to 30 days for the change to take place.
Ans: PCMC has some exceptions when it comes to property taxes. Religious places, heritage lands or properties, burial lands, properties used for agricultural, educational or charitable reasons and residential properties with an area of less than 500 square feet are excluded from PCMC property tax payment.
