Your Aadhaar card serves as a primary proof of your identity and address in India. In case you have lost or misplaced your physical Aadhaar card, you can download an e-Aadhaar card online. To download an e-Aadhaar card, you will need to enter your enrolment ID or Aadhaar number. But, in case you do not have your Aadhaar number or enrollment ID, you can still download your e-Aadhaar card using just your name and date of birth (DoB).
This blog talks about how to download Aadhaar card by name and date of birth.
Follow the below-mentioned steps to download your e-Aadhaar using your name and date of birth:
Visit the official website of UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) first.
Select ‘My Aadhaar’ on the homepage. Under ‘My Aadhaar’, you will find the ‘Aadhaar Services’ menu. From the menu, choose ‘Retrieve Lost or Forgotten EID/UID’.
A new page will be displayed in front of you, wherein you will have to fill up the relevant information. Choose ‘Aadhaar No. (UID)’ or ‘Enrolment ID (EID)’ on the given page. Now, type your full name. Provide your registered mobile number or email ID. Enter your CAPTCHA verification code and press ‘Send OTP’. You will receive an OTP (one-time password) on your registered mobile number. Type your OTP in the specified field and press ‘Verify and Download’.
After successful verification of the OTP, you can download your e-Aadhaar card.
