UIDAI recently announced that people, whose Aadhaar cards were issued more than 10 years ago, can update their demographic details on myAadhaar portal for FREE from 15th March, 2023 to 30th June, 2023.

Follow the steps given below to verify:
Visit UIDAI official website and go to ‘My Aadhaar’ – located at the top left of the menu bar.
Go to Aadhaar Services and select ‘Verify Email/Mobile Number’.
Enter details such as the Aadhaar number, email ID, mobile number and security code, and submit. You shall receive an OTP on the registered mobile number. Submit the OTP generated.
Once done, select ‘Verify OTP’. A green tick will appear on the screen in case of successful verification.
Follow the steps below to update mobile number linked with Aadhaar card:
Upon completion, visit your nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Centre or Aadhaar Seva Kendra. You need to pay a nominal fee of Rs.25 to complete your mobile number update process.
