UIDAI recently announced that people, whose Aadhaar cards were issued more than 10 years ago, can update their demographic details on myAadhaar portal for FREE from 15th March, 2023 to 30th June, 2023.
Registration for the Aadhaar card is now open to residents of India. OCI cardholders who have lived in India for a long time (more than 182 days in the 12 months immediately prior to the application date) and have an Indian valid address can also apply for an Indian Aadhaar card. Non-Resident Indians are not eligible for an Aadhaar card if they are an Indian citizen but have not stayed for more than 182 days in the last 12 months. NRI can apply for an Aadhaar Card after completing a 182-day stay in India in the last 12 months. This should be immediately prior to the registration application date.
