Hartalika Teej is an auspicious festival for Hindu women. The day is mainly dedicated to Goddess Parvati, for her immense austerity to get married to Lord Shiva. Later on, Lord Shiva also understood her love for him and agreed to marry Parvati. From then, Hindu women started following this day to worship for marital harmony. Like every year, Hartalika Teej in 2023 will also be celebrated with great enthusiasm in different parts of India.
The celebration of Hartalika Teej takes place mostly on the third day of the first fortnight during the Bhadra month, according to the Hindu calendar. Following this, Hartalika Teej 2023 date is on September 18, Monday on the Shukla Paksha Tritiya of Bhadrapad.
