An Aadhaar card consists of a unique and verifiable 12-digit code that acts as a unique identity for all residents of India. UIDAI recently announced that people, whose Aadhaar cards were issued more than 10 years ago, can update their demographic details on myAadhaar portal for FREE from 15th March, 2023 to 30th June, 2023.
You need to furnish four types of documents for Aadhaar card registration: proof of identity, proof of date of birth, proof of address and proof of relationship.

The documents required for minors’ Aadhaar card enrolment are the same as those required for an adult applicant. However, the parents will have to submit a copy of their Aadhaar cards along with all the necessary documents.
Also, children below the age of 5 do not have to provide any biometric details. Biometrics will be collected only when the child reaches 5 years of age.
You need to submit all relevant documents required for Aadhaar card enrolment. If you fail to provide the requisite documents, UIDAI might revoke the issue of the Aadhaar card.
Ans: Yes, an NRI individual who has a valid Indian passport can apply for an Aadhaar Card at any Aadhaar Seva Kendra in the country. The documents required for NRIs are the same as those for individuals residing in India.

They need to provide their Aadhaar number along with the birth certificate of the child. The child’s Aadhaar will be connected with the guardian’s Aadhaar.
