The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) was introduced in 2009, to facilitate convenient Aadhaar enrolment, operation and management. One can visit their official online portal to access an updated list of Aadhaar enrolment centres at any particular city in India.
Here is a step-by-step procedure to search for the nearest Aadhaar enrolment centre in Bangalore:
- Visit the official UIDAI portal and select your preferable interface language.
- After you select your interface language, you will land on the UIDAI homepage. Thereafter, look for my Aadhaar option on the menu bar, and click on it.

1. Biometric and Demographic Collection
Aadhaar enrolment requires biometric data like fingerprints, iris scan, etc., for unique identification and demographic data like address and contact details.
