Navi Our Values
A meritocratic and accelerated work environment for builders and achievers.
Culture isn’t something you are – it’s something you do. Here’s how we work:
We exist to consistently understand and fulfill customer needs. We spend time understanding our customers directly and know that impacting their lives meaningfully is all that matters.
We know that real ownership requires you to: a. Go above and beyond to ensure the success of the mission; b. Be resilient when things don’t go according to plan; c. Behave like shareholders who treat Navi’s time and resources as their own; and d. Do the right thing when no one is watching.
Our instinct is to go deep, measure what matters and stay close to the details of everything that we do.
We sweat the small stuff, and value being meticulous and setting high standards in everything we do—big or small. We know that strategy is a commodity and execution is a craft.
We know that mammoth outcomes require us to move with high velocity and clear direction. This means we don’t wait for perfect plans or obsess over factors we cannot control. Instead, we value experimentation and iterate quickly. When we make mistakes, we reflect and move forward.
We prioritise ruthlessly; we know that focus beats spread and say no often—even to things we really want to do.
We think scale and believe that inventing the future is the best way to predict it. When setting goals, we are audacious. When decisions are irreversible, we are rigorous.
We cultivate an environment that nurtures open debate but demands commitment once a decision is made.
We believe that collaboration and teamwork will always triumph over individual heroism. When collaborating, we prioritise the goals of the organisation over our own.
We believe that feedback is a gift without which we cannot grow. We give feedback with the intent to help and we receive feedback with grace.
Great leadership is all about being decisive when the stakes are high or the situation is unclear and then owning the result—good or bad.
No task is too big or too small for leaders at Navi—they are expected to roll up their sleeves, solve problems and help unlock and accelerate their teams.
Organisations can often be chaotic—leaders need to be a source of clarity and context.
The quality of people that we hire is our edge - leaders need to set and protect the bar for hiring and performance. They should also prioritise intrinsics (i.e. integrity, intelligence, and agency) over experience.
When building teams or opening new roles, our instinct should be to promote from within.
