They are entrusted with executing the Company’s vision, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and maintaining high standards of corporate governance. Each Personnel plays a critical role in strengthening stakeholder confidence and supporting the Board in driving sustainable business performance.
Vaibhav Goyal is the Managing Director and CEO of our Company. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Loyola College, Chennai, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Prior to his appointment as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, he served as the Business Head of the Company. He has been associated with the Navi Group since July 2019 and has held various leadership and strategic roles across the Group, including serving as Chief of Staff to the founder, Mr. Sachin Bansal, Business Head of Navi AMC Limited, and as a founding member of the Navi Group Treasury team. Before joining the Navi Group, he worked in the finance functions of Marico Limited and ITC Limited. He began his career as an Article Trainee at PwC.
Suraj Raj is the Chief Technology Officer of our Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from West Bengal University of Technology. He has held various engineering and technology roles at Navi across lending, central platforms and insurance. Prior to joining our Company, he was associated with Infosys.
Umesh Pratap Singh is the Company Secretary of our Company. He is a qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce with majors in Corporate Affairs and Administration and a Master of Business Laws from National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. He has over six years of post-qualification experience in corporate secretarial, capital market, corporate governance, fundraising, capital restructuring, M&A, foreign entity compliances and Indian regulatory compliances. Prior to joining our Company, he was associated with Ver Se Innovation Private Limited, Reliance General Insurance Company Limited and Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited.
Shivam Tewari is the Chief Risk Officer of our Company. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Management (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Actuarial Science from Amity University, Noida. Prior to joining our Company, he was associated with Swiss Re, where he served as Assistant Vice President – Underwriting Strategy & Steering.
Sunny Janyani is the Chief Investment Officer of our Company. He holds a master’s degree in management studies from H&GHM College of Management(Mumbai University) and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Mumbai University. He has over 18 years of experience in treasury, investments, fixed income trading, fund management and liquidity management. Prior to joining our Company, he was associated with Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited, STCI Primary Dealership Limited, IDBI Asset Management Limited.
Dr. Anup Choudhari is the Chief Underwriting Officer of our Company. He holds a Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S) degree from Bharti Vidyapeeth’s College of Homoeopathy, Pune. He brings over 15 years of extensive professional experience in the insurance domain. Prior to joining our Company, he was associated with Tata AIG General Insurance Co. Limited, Aditya Birla Health Insurance and Principle Global Services Pvt. Ltd., Future Generali India Insurance Co. Ltd. and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance.
Shantanu Gaur is Appointed Actuary of our Company. He is a qualified Actuary. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in management from National Insurance Academy, Pune. Prior to joining our Company, he was associated with Swiss Re as Vice president in the Property and Casualty division. He was also associated with Royal Sundaram General Insurance as Head-Actuary and worked with Max Bupa Health Insurance (Now Niva Bupa) and Reliance General Insurance Limited in actuarial division too.
Shweta Shrivastava is the Head of Claims and Operations of our Company. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and a Master’s degree in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Prior to joining our Company, she was associated with YCP India as an Associate Consultant and Tata Steel as a Manager in the Process Technology team.
Dr. Amit Bhaskar Kulkarni is the Head of Health Claims of our Company. He holds a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS). He has over 15 years of experience in healthcare and health insurance. Prior to joining our Company, he was associated in the ICU departments of Chintamani Hospital and cardiac centre, Pune. Shree Chandra Sekara Hospital, Hosur.
Shishira Prakash is the Chief Compliance Officer of our Company. She holds a BBA LLB degree from Symbiosis Law School, Pune. She has over 7 years of experience in the insurance sector. Prior to joining our Company, she was associated with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company as a Chief Manager in the Compliance Department.
Deepak Kumar Hota is the Chief Financial Officer of our Company. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Utkal University. He has over seven years of experience in finance controllership and regulatory compliances. Prior to joining our Company, he was associated with Navi Finserv Limited, Avanti Finance Private Limited and Belstar Microfinance Limited.
